XIPE are the duo of Giulia Deval and Ivan Bringas, based in Torino but from Italy and Mexico City.
XIPE is based on
the interaction between voice, magnetic tapes and Guitarra Expansiva, an instrument conceived by Ivan Bringas based on the invention of mobile elements that interact on the neck of a guitar, activated by the feet of the musician.
